Aurobindo Pharma Ltd has made a donation of Rs 1.10 crore to set up a new kitchen at Sri Krishna Goseva Mandal, Narsingi, Kokapet, as part of the Bhojanamrita programme of the Hare Krishna Movement. The programme is already being implemented across many hospitals in the city where patients and attendants are provided free meals which includes rice, dal, sabzi, butter milk and pickle along with sweet and fruits once a week.

Sri Swamy Goud at Bhumi Puja

The bhumi puja for the kitchen was conducted on Thursday where two vehicles which would ferry the food to the needy were inaugurated. Guests at the event included finance minister Etela Rajender, transport minister Mahender Reddy, Telangana Legislative Council chairman Swamy Goud, Aurobindo Pharma director Sharat Chandra Reddy and Hare Krishna Movement president Satya Gaura Chandra Dasa.
