Honouring women services

Standing against female foeticide Bathukamma Festival Women’s Organising Committee, an NGO, conducted a run to spread awareness against female foeticide at Tank Bund on Sunday. The event was followed by a road show, signature campaign and various competitions.

Marking the International Women’s Day, Andhra Bank zonal office felicitated Rangareddy District Session judge Udaya Gouri. The ceremony was attended by many women employees of Andhra Bank along with zonal manager PVSTR Seshagiri Rao. Post felicitation, Udaya urged the women employees and the team of Andhra Bank to help the poor and indigent girl students living in the villages in pursuing their studies so as to achieve the goal of women empowerment.
