“Platforms such as these are required to reach out to women looking for well-designed handmade cotton, silkwear and exclusive home textile,” said Mamatha Organiser of the expo Jayesh Kumar added, “The social objective of the handloom exhibition is to promote weavers and provide a market to the handloom industry. Through these exhibitions, we have been able to create good market for the weavers and their handloom ware even in places where exhibitions are not feasible. The exhibition motive is to market pure silk and cotton products directly by the weavers to the costumers.”
