Collector calls for proposals for Anganwadi centres

Hyderabad Collector K Nirmala directed officials to send proposals to identify suitable lands for the construction of new buildings for Anganwadi centres and SC, ST, BC and minority hostels.Inviting applications from the public on the occasion of Meekosam programme at Collectorate on Monday, Nirmala looked into the applications received under the Kalyana Laxmi and Shadi Mubarak schemes. The Collector advised officials to contact leaders of SC and ST organisations to know about the marriages being conducted and convince them to register their names under the scheme. Later, she reviewed the progress of various departments and asked officials to clear all pending petitions as early as possible.
