11 hassle free junctions to come up in 2 yrs. Tenders for a skyway with five crossings at Jubilee Hills Check Post to be invited in two weeks

Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Commissioner Somesh Kumar stated that the city would have 11 hassle-free junctions for easy movement of traffic in the next two years. On Wednesday, Somesh Kumar, along with Additional Police Commissioner (Traffic), Jeetendra; HMR MD NVS Reddy and other senior officials of various departments inspected the heavy flow of traffic at Jubilee Hills Check Post, Mythrivanam, Ameerpet and Punjagutta.

“With a view to ease traffic congestion, the line departments are planning to construct a multi-level flyover (three levels of skyways facilitating five different crossings) at Jubilee Hills Check Post without causing any inconvenience to the citizens. There are encroachments and unauthorised constructions on the path for which action has to be initiated. Global tenders are going to be called in the next two weeks for the construction of the multilevel flyover. Apart from this the line departments are planning to take up 10 more flyovers on the same lines,” the Commissioner said.
