Rohith’s kin to embrace Buddhism

Speaking to The Hans India over the phone, Rohith’s brother Vemula Raja confirmed that the family would embrace Buddhism in Mumbai. He said primary reason for taking up Buddhism was to fulfil his brother’s wish.
Hyderabad: Rohith’s family has decided to convert to Buddhism on Thursday. The day happens to be 125th birth anniversary of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar.
Speaking to The Hans India over the phone, Rohith’s brother Vemula Raja confirmed that the family would embrace Buddhism in Mumbai. He said primary reason for taking up Buddhism was to fulfil his brother’s wish. “Before my brother’s suicide, Rohith attended one of his friend’s wedding. There he expressed and showed his willingness to embrace Buddhism. By the time we decided to fulfil his wish, Rohith left us. So we wanted to fulfil his wish. We are on the way to Mumbai,” Raja said.
