New York: A single-engine plane lost its power and crash-landed on an under-construction road in West Hartford, on Saturday, authorities said.

WTIC reported that authorities had identified the pilot of the Cessna as Dan Hall, of Torrington, Connecticut. Hall said that he was unhurt.

This is the second time Hall has crash-landed his plane. Hall was flying the plane from Plainville to Brainard Airport in Hartford when he reported losing engine power. The plane’s right wing was torn off when it got caught on a fence separating the road from the parallel Amtrak rail line.
