Bangkok: Three people, including two Indian tourists, were killed and five others injured when a van carrying an Indian family crashed into a parked water tanker near the airport here.

The two tourists killed in the accident Monday have been identified as Nupur Dewan, 29, and Suresh Kumar Dewan, 68, the Bangkok Post reported Tuesday.

The accident happened Monday morning on the elevated road leading to the airport terminal, and also left wounded eight other people, including two Indian toddlers, aged one and two, and two workers on the truck, according to police.
