The Islamic State (IS) jihadists have reportedly imposed another strict law in the Syrian stronghold of Raqqa, under which men caught wearing "skinny jeans" will be sent to jail or even beheaded.

The new law, which also bans playing music on mobile phones, was revealed by the group, 'Raqqa Is Being Slaughtered Silently,' The Daily Star reported.
The terror group said that the violators would be imprisoned for 10 days and also be forced to take an "Islamic course" after which they would have to appear for a test. According to the law, those who pass would be released and those who fail will be fined and kept in prison until they pass. If they continued to defy their wishes, they could even be tortured or behead ed.
The group although said the laws were "changeable" but added that they were being enforced increasingly.
A resident said that the IS used the principle of intimidation to deal with the public and that freedom of expression is a crime there. He also added that dozens of people had fled Raqqa, in order to escape from the new strict laws imposed by the group.
