ISIS men rape, impregnate Yazidi girl in Iraq

In a shocking incident, a nine year old girl was impregnated after being rape by at least 10 ISIS members.

A Canadian-based aid worker, Yousif Daoud, informed that the girl is so young that she could die if she delivers a baby and the abuse she has suffered had left her mentally and physically traumatized. Daoud explained that the girl was in a very bad shape and the men who were a part of the abuse were front-line fighters or suicide bombers who are given girls as a reward.

The young girl has been taken by a Kurdish aid group who will be looked after in Germany by a medical charity until her baby arrives.

Over 200 Yazidi women and children along with the young girl were released this week after being held captive as sex slaves for eight months. The freed Yazidi prisoners stated that they were made to believe that they were being led to their execution but were made to get into a minibus that took them to peshmerga positions.

There was no reason given for the release of the prisoners that took place 180 180 miles north of Baghdad in Himera just southwest of Kirkuk. The prisoners that included women, children and elderly are said to be bearing signs of abuse and in poor state.

The Islamic State has committed genocide against the minority, said the United Nations. The Yazidis who are considered devil-worshippers by the Islamic State are an ancient, primarily Kurdish people who follow their own religion derived from Zoroastrianism, Islam and Christianity.
