Google’s efforts to reach users in emerging markets will be in the spotlight this week, when Google Chief Executive Sundar Pichai makes his first official visit to India since taking the top job in August.

Pichai, who grew up in India, is scheduled to meet with software developers to outline the ways Google is trying to connect those coming online for the first time in the country.
