Nepali Congress warns govt. against budget relocation

Kathmandu : The Nepali Congress has warned the CPN-UML-led government against relocating the budget unilaterally as the current fiscal is approaching its end.

NC parliamentary party's whip Ishwari Neupane said rumors were rife that the government was planning to transfer budget through lawmakers of ruling parties, especially the CPN-UML, unilaterally and haphazardly, reports The Himalayan Times.

Neupane also urged the government to maintain economic discipline.

The government is accused of trying to bypass the House session while making major decisions and calling the next budget session directly.
