cmKarimnagar: Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Saturday announced a Government medical college to Karimnagar district. Following the representations submitted by the elected leaders from the district, the Chief Minister conceded their plea and asked the district administration to start the process of acquiring land and other requirements. After launching 'Amma Hastam' at Mulkaluru village of Bheemdevarapalli mandal in Karimnagar district, the Chief Minister informed that the State Government had also decided to allocate 30 acres of land for women in every district for setting up an industrial corridor. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister criticised the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) for failing to fight for the people's problems and said that the TRS leaders were running the party only depending on the sentiment. Referring to the demand for the separate Telangana State, Kiran Kumar Reddy said that the issue was now with the Centre and he would abide by whatever the decision taken by the Centre. On the occasion, he showered many sops to the people of Huzurabad Assembly constituency and agreed to increase from 30 beds to 50 beds in the Huzurabad Government hospital. Ministers Botcha Satyanarayana and D Sridhar Babu and others participated.
