lab Karimnagar: The District Central Cooperative Bank (DCCB) chairman Konduri Ravinder Rao said that Primary Agricultural Cooperative Societies (PACS), also known as `single windows,' would continue to strive for the development of villagers, especially farmers . Mr Ravinder Rao, addressing the media in the town on Friday, said that all the PACS in the district have been functioning well. The societies, all put together, are expected to earn an annual profit ranging from Rs 8 cr to Rs 10 cr during the current financial year. He said that computers would be installed at all the society offices across the district to provide better services to people, especially to farmers. A ATMs would also be installed at the rural banks (societies). A The societies would also provide loans to villagers to meet the educational expenses to their wards, Rao said. The computerisation would help the farmers to know the details of out stading loan amounts, accumulated interest and other details with in short time. DCCB vice-president Mohan Reddy, General Manager Bhanu Prasad, District Cooperative Officers Krishna and Chandra Prakash were present at the press meet.
