Officials told to complete godown work by Nov.

Karimnagar: District Collector M Veera Brahmaiah directed the official to complete construction of a godown for keeping electronic voting machines (EVMs) by November. Mr Veera Brahmaiah inspected the godown construction works here on Tuesday. He said that the Election Commission had already released Rs 98 lakh for building the godown and also agreed to sanction additional funds to complete the works. The Collector asked the officials to prepare work proposals for getting additional funds. Meanwhile, the Collector delivered judgment in Telugu language in a case related to Civil Supplies Department on Tuesday. Speaking to the newsmen, the Collector said that measures were being taken to use Telugu language for transactions in all government offices in the district.
