Suryapet: The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) Vice President Mallu Ravi on Monday took strong exception to the comments made by the BJP national president Amit Shah against first Prime Minister of India, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.

Speaking at a media conference which was organised at the residence of Former Minister and senior Congress leader Ramreddy Damodar Reddy in Suryapet town, Mallu Ravi felt that Amit Shah insulting Jawarlal Nehru and parising Sadar Vallabai Patel indicates his political degradedness and immaturity. The BJP leaders should talk only after knowing the history, Ravi suggested.

Coming down heavily on the Union Minister Bandaru Dattatreya, Ravi has observed that it was very unfortunate of Dattatreya terming senior Congress leader Jailpal Reddy as ‘galli leader”. “People know who actually is a galli leader,” he retorted. Mallu Ravi exuded confidence that the Congress party would come into power at the Centre and in State in 2019 general elections.Senior Congress leader Ramreddy Damodar Reddy and others were also present.
