Matsyagiri temple Brahmotsavams from Nov 9

Bhongir: Matsyagiri Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy annual Brahmotsavams would be conducted from November 9 to 14. The temple, which is located at Venkatapuram village of Valigonda mandal, is one of the famous temples in the district. Fish that live in Pushkarini on the hill shrine depict “thri-namalu” on their head that bring the name ‘Matsyagiri’ to the temple.

The Brahmotsavams will begin on November 9 with Swasthi Vachans of temple priest at the temple. Ankurarpanam with Dwajarohanam will be performed on November 10, Swamivari Kalyanam on November 12, followed by Chakratheertham on November 14.
