Khammam: The activists of Akhil Bharatiya Vidhyarthi Parishad (ABVP) organised a novel protest of seeking alms against the government for not releasing fee dues here in Khammam on Tuesday.

The ABVP activists took out a rally from Baburao Petrol Bunk to ZP Centre seeking alms. They later submitted a representation to the District Collector D S Lokesh Kumar asking for release of fee dues.

Speaking on the occasion, the ABVP District Secretary Nukala Mohan Krishna said, “Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is transforming the richest State into poor by investing huge amounts of money in unnecessary things. He is implementing anti-education policies in the State and spoiling the future of students.”

He further alleged that the Chief Minister had deceived the students of the State with his KG to PG free education promise. It had not been materialised till date.

To make him realise the miserable condition of Telangana students, we started this kind of protest and we will send the money collected to him,” Mohan Krishna said.

He further threatened the government of intensifying the agitation if government turned a blind eye to their issues. “Government should immediately release fee dues, otherwise we will teach a fitting lesson to it, he said.ABVP activists Eshwar, Ganesh, Bhansilal, Sai, Vishal, Sairam, Ashok, Dilip, Madhi, Sairam and others took part in the protest programme.
