Demonetisation causes dip in vendors’ business
According to reports, people are facing severe hardships because of the shortage. Even if one has Rs 2,000 note, he or she is not able to go out and confidently buy essential commodities.
Sattupalli: Demonetisation has hit the foot-path vendors to the point of not able to run their families due to severe shortage of Rs 100 denomination notes.

People in the constituency, including the vendors, are facing acute problem due to Rs 100 notes shortage. The condition of banks is even worse.
All the 10 ATMs of various banks in the town have gone completely dry posing problems to the people. Even if an ATM was functional, it was dispensing only Rs 2,000 notes, which people find it difficult to get change.
The petty vendors for want of change are not able to do business. The quantum of sales has come down from Rs 3,000 a day to Rs 500.The people have been appealing to authorities to make all the ATMs functional and ensure that they dispense only Rs 100 notes.
