58 vehicles seized during cordon search

Under the supervision of Suryapet Divisional Superintendent of Police Sunitha Mohan and Kodad town and rural CIs Rajitha and Madhusudhan Reddy, eight SIs and 100 police personnel conducted the cordon and search operations in Laxmipuram, which falls under the limits of Kodad town police station.
Kodad:The Kodad police seized 48 motorcycles and 10 auto-rickshaws, besides arresting one suspect, during their cordon AND search operation in Lakshmipuram Colony, on the outskirts of the town on Friday.

Based on the inputs of intelligence wing about the illegal activities in the area, the police had taken up the search operation. The police checked houses and verified the identity of persons staying in them.
