On Tuesday, he attended the Nalgonda Muncipal Council meeting as a chief guest. Addressing the council, the Minister asked the councillors to put parties and politics aside to develop Nalgonda as one of the best towns in the State.

“It is duty of each and every ward member to render valuable services for the welfare of people who elected you,” he told. “Government is spending crores of rupees for the beautification of towns, utilise the funds properly and do best to the denizens,” he stated.

The Minister further directed the Municipal Chairperson Boddupalli Laxmi Srinivas and officials to plant flower saplings throughout town for colorful look.

MP Gutha Sukender Reddy, in his address, suggested the Council members create a healthy environment in municipality and do their bit for the welfare of people.

Meanwhile, hide and seek game was witnessed between MLA Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and Minister Jagadish Reddy during the meeting. Komatireddy Venkat Reddy came to the meeting as a guest at 11.45 am and carried out with agenda topics.

After an hour, both the Minister and MP arrived at the venue as special guests. Meanwhile, Joint Collector and Municipal Commissioner In-charge maintained silence and observed the proceedings.
