Khammam: The Co-convenor of the Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC), Dr S Papa Rao, alleged that the government is neglecting the unemployed youth and students in the State, who were responsible for achieving separate statehood after several sacrifices.

Participating in the protest held by the unemployed-JAC of district unit at Mahatma Jyothi Rao Phule Chowk in Khammam on Sunday, Papa Rao said that with the main intention of providing jobs to the unemployed youth in the State, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao led the Telangana movement with the students and lakhs of unemployed youth along with various sections of people but after achieving separate statehood he neglected the issue and is enjoying the power forgetting the sacrifices of students.

“Even after two and half years of completion of formation of separate Telangana, as many as 12 lakhs of unemployed youth present in the State are leading miserable lives without jobs,” he observed.

He also said, “Many students are depressed and disappointed for not having jobs after several sacrifices they did for the formation of Telangana and are preparing themselves to start a massive movement to teach the government a fitting lesson.”

Under the leadership of Unemployed JAC district president P Nagarjuna, Papa Rao released wall poster of ‘Chalo Hyderabad’ to be held on February 22 demanding the government for providing employment opportunities in the State.

Nagarjuna urged all the unemployed youth to participate in large numbers in Chalo Hyderabad programme to be held on February 22 and make it grand a success.
