Yadadri: All set for the smooth conduct of annual Brahmotsavalu of Yadadri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple that starts from Monday and conclude on March 9.

Speaking to The Hans India on Sunday, Temple EO Geetha informed that all arrangements were completed for the 11-day annual Brahmotsavalu.

In view of the ongoing works at Yadadri, the Brahmotsavalu would be conducted at Bala alayam and Arjitha sevas were cancelled during the Brahmotsvalu in order to perform special sevas.

Explaining about the main events during the programme, she said Edurukollu Utsavam would be conducted on March 5 and celestial wedding of Lord Narasimha Swamy with His Consort Goddess Lakshmi would be performed on March 6 at Bala alayam between 11 am 1 pm.

On the occasion, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao would present silk clothes to the God and Goddess on behalf of the State government. Srivari Kalyanam would be organised in the evening on the same day at ZPHS School grounds located at down hills.

Another important event Rathotsavam would be organised on March 7 and celebrations would conclude with Shatha ghatabhishekam to the deities on March 9.

The temple authorities made all necessary arrangements for the convenience of devotees during Brahmotsavalu whereas district police have made elaborate arrangements for the safety and security of devotees.
