NCC cadets sailing expedition flagged off in Bhadrachalam
Air Commodore P Maheshwar, Deputy Director-General of Telangana and AP NCC directorate, flagging off the NCC cadets Sailing Expedition-2017 in Godavari River here on Tuesday, said that it would make them more patriotic and courageous.

Besides, it will boost their morale, he said lauding the cadets taking part in the expedition. Andhra Naval Commander SP Khaza said that the 10-day 410-km-long sailing expedition will help the students understand many new issues.
Out of the 42 expedition members, 14 are girls, he said adding that the girls are taking part in the event for the first time.
Bhadrachalam Assistant Superintendent of Police Sunil Dutt, group commander Col LC Naidu, deputy camp commandant Cap KCS Rao, Bhadrachalam RDO Sivanarayana Reddy, Tahsildar PV Ramakrishna, Bhadrachalam major panchayat sarpanch Bhukya Sweta and others took part in the launching ceremony.
