Khammam: Senior leader of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Gangirala Rajesh alleged that leaders of the Congress party were creating hurdles in the developmental works and unnecessarily criticising Chief Minister K Chandrashekar, who was striving hard for the uplift of farming community by constituting Farmer Coordination Committees (FCC).

Addressing the media persons at Press Club in Khammam on Thursday, Rajesh condemned the comments made by Congress leaders on TRS party chief, KCR.

He said everyone in the country were praising the Chief Minister for striving hard to make Telangana as number one state in the country by introducing about 375 welfare schemes, investing Rs 45,000 crore for the welfare of the people.

“The Chief Minister in order to achieve Bangaru Telangana is introducing several schemes for the uplift of weaker sections of the society and is striving hard for all-round development of Telangana,” he added, alleging that Congress party leaders were unnecessarily making a hue and cry over the formation of farmer panels.

“It is not good on the part Congress leaders to oppose the constitution of FCC’s and provoke farmers against the TRS party,” he pointed, adding that if Congress party continues to oppose the projects and schemes introduced for the welfare of people and creates hurdles in the developmental works, the people would teach a fitting lesson in 2019 polls.

TRS leaders Devara Gautham Kumar, Gorlagani Santhosh Kumar were present along with others.
