Lightning kills boy, injures couple in Nalgonda
A boy was killed and two others were injured due to lightning at two different places in Nalgonda district on Tuesday. The boy, Aravind (12), was struck by lightning at Amobothu Thanda of Chennaram Gram Panchayath in Kandamallepally mandal.

Similarly, a couple, Dhanaiah and Parvathamma, suffered injuries after they were struck by lightning while working in their farm in Namapllay mandal in Nalgonda district. The couple is said to be out of danger.
Couple commits suicide
Meanwhile, a couple, Bontha Venkatesh (28) and Maheshwari (25), committed suicide by hanging themselves at their home in Yadav Nagar of Yadagirigutta town in Yadadri district.
Sub-inspectors Lingaiah Yadav and Nagi Reddy visited the spot and registered a case. Reasons for the suicide is yet to be known. The couple survived by two children, who are at their grandmother’s place on vacation.
