Mandamarri: Four Singareni workers were injured due to strong wind that blew when a boulder from the roof of an underground mine collapsed at 3 am on Wednesday.
The incident took place at Kalyanikani mine-1 in Mandamarri area. As many as 20 workers were working when the boulder suddenly fell, letting heavy wind into the mine. Four workers - Golla Rajamallu, Durgam Malliah, Ramchander Naik and Chilumula Malliah – were seriously injured in the incident. They were rushed to Singareni Area Hospital in Ramakrishnapur.
