On Wednesday, as a part of Yadadri district formation day celebrations, the Minister along with Government Whip Gongidi Sunitha and local MP Bhoora Narsaiah Goud performed bhoomi pooja and laid the foundation stone for the construction of district Collectorate complex at Rayagiri.

Speaking on this occasion, Minister Jagadish Reddy said with the rapid development of historical Yadadri temple, Yadadri-Bhongir district was developing with rocket speed.

Expressing his happiness for participating in the first anniversary celebrations of the Yadadri district, the Minister said that he was fortunate in getting the opportunity to lay the foundation stone for the new Collectorate complex at Rayagiri. He said that the Chief Minister is implementing all the development plans which were designed during the peak time of Telangana agitation. The district would have full-fledged facilities, he added.

Speaking on the occasion, District Collector Anitha Ramachandran said that officials of the district were collectively working tirelessly for the progress of the district. She further informed that as a part of development of the district, the green industry was going to establish in 200 acres at Gandamalla village and district get irrigation facility with Kaleshwaram project. Pochampally and Bhongir fort have been developing as tourist spots.

As the state capital Hyderabad was very close to Yadadri-Bhongir district, the district administration has been encouraging farmers to cultivate vegetables on select 1000 acres of land and providing subsidies to them, she added

Government Whip and Aler MLA Gongidi Sunitha became teary eyed and emotional expressing her concern over the merging of Gundala mandal of her constituency with the neighboring Jangaon district MLC Karne Prabhakar, MLAs Shekar Reddy, Kusukuntla Prabhakar Reddy, Vemula Veeresham, State Wearhouse Corporation Chairman Madula Samuel, Rayagiri sarpanch Uma, local TRS leader and villagers were present on the occasion.

As a part of Formation Day celebrations, several programs were conducted across the district.
