Nalgonda: A youngster from Miryalaguda drowned in River Ganges in Varanasi while taking a holy dip before visiting the Lord Shiva temple. The incident reportedly took place on Thursday night, while the parents of the deceased received the information on Friday.

According to sources, the victim Narahari, 22 is a final year student of BSc Agriculture at DSB University in Dehradun. He went on a pleasure trip with his friends to the Varanasi. On Thursday, he drowned when he stepped into the Ganges for a holy bath. It came to be known that even parents and kin of Narahari were not in the know of latter’s trip.
