3 killed, one hurt in separate road accidents
In two separate accidents that took place in Nalgonda and Yadadri districts on Wednesday, three persons were killed while one suffered injuries.

According to sources, Showri and Koteshwar Rao of Kammagudem were killed on the spot when a speeding car, heading towards Vijayawada from Hyderabad, hit the two-wheeler they were travelling on from the rear side.
The incident took place when they were crossing the road after leaving the petrol bunk at Mutyalammagudem of Kattangur mandal in Nalgonda district.
Similarly, Battini Venkaiah (50) was also killed on the spot when a speeding lorry hit the bike on which he was travelling at Kandibanda Ganapavaram of Kodad mandal in Suryapet district. In the incident, a woman suffered injuries.
She was rushed to local hospital for treatment.Respective police station officers filed cases and took up the investigation.
