MLA Jalagam Venkat Rao initiates works of 4-lane road

Local legislator Jalagam Venkat Rao on Wednesday took part in the gound-breaking ceremony of a four-lane road to be laid at a cost of Rs 5.5 crore near Ayyappa Temple at Nayakulagudem Sabarinagar in Sujatanagar mandal.
Kothagudem: Local legislator Jalagam Venkat Rao on Wednesday took part in the gound-breaking ceremony of a four-lane road to be laid at a cost of Rs 5.5 crore near Ayyappa Temple at Nayakulagudem Sabarinagar in Sujatanagar mandal.
The 1.4 km road from Sabarinagar to Dhanwantari College is being expanded to four-lane. Addressing the gathering, the MLA stated that the State government has been expanding the road network with a view to expedite the development of newly-created districts.
He said the new road would have median with central lighting system. The medians would have a borewell to water the saplings. Rao appealed to the officials to expeditiously complete the works.
Among those present at the function were Deputy Engineer I Nageswara Rao, Assistant Engineer Siva Goud, ATMA Committee Chairman Pitchi Reddy, Sarpanch Vemulapalli Satyanarayana, Mandal Rythu Samanvaya Samiti Coordinator Bhagam Mohan Rao and others.
