Nalgonda: BJP deputy floor leader and Uppal MLA MVVS Prabhakar said that farmers of the state could not avail the benefits from Centre due to State government's negligence in providing details of crops in right time.

After visiting few villages in Nalgonda assembly constituency on Thursday, Prabhakar spoke to the media at party district office. The BJP MLA questioned the State government on crop loan waiver scheme, lack of promotion for Centre’s Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana in the state and delay in announcement of bonus to cotton farmers.

Stating that farmers in many villages incurred losses due to drought, untimely rains and spurious seeds, the MLA demanded the State government to prepare an action plan to bail out the growers.

He further informed that BJP was committed to the growth of farmers and would bring the pressing issues of farmers on to the floor Assembly and to the notice of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for discussion and possible redressal.

Party district president N Narasimha Reddy, agriculture wing state president G Madhusudhan Reddy, leaders’ B Prasad, B Papaiah, P Sambaiah, R Srinivas Reddy, Rajashekar Reddy and others attended the press conference.
