School bus knocks down LKG student
Tragedy has struck a family of an LKG boy on Wednesday when he run over by the school bus that dropped him near his home. The deceased was identified as Yashwant, son of Vankudothu Ravi and Saraswati, residents of Gopalapuram in the city. He was a student of Aravinda School in Rotary Nagar in the city.

On Wednesday, the parents sent the boy to the school in the morning as usual. While returning home, the school bus driver dropped him at the Gopalapur. However, he run over the boy. The frightened driver along with the bus attendant fled the spot after the incident. The boy was rushed to government hospital here, but doctors declared them dead on arrival. Based on parents complaint, the police registered a case and took up the probe.
