Khammam: Commissioner of Police Tafseer Iqbal ordered the Station House Officials (STO) of all police stations to make use of Crime and Criminal Tracking Network System (CCTNS) for cracking the cases with ease.

The top cop chaired a review meeting with SHOs and other police officials to discuss various cases that are under investigation, at Special Branch Conference Hall in Khammam on Tuesday. Addressing the officials, Tafseer Iqbal said the SHOs and court constables must work in coordination with Public Prosecutors for early redressal of cases.

Suggesting the Sub-Divisional Assistant Commissioners to inspect police stations regularly besides checking the registers, the Commissioner said there could be sudden inspection by higher officials at any time in the district and the officials must be alert in this regard.

“Necessary steps are taken for conducting training classes on usage of technology for home guards, constables, ministerial staff and others for improving professional skills,” informed the Commissioner.

Additional DCP Suresh Kumar, Assistant Commissioners of Police Rajesh, Ganesh, Prasanna Kumar, Naresh Reddy, Sadaniranjan Reddy, Venkatesh, Eshwaraiah, Rehaman, Vijay Babu and AO Satya Kumar, CCRB Circle Inspector Vijay Kumar and SIs were present along with others.
