Land records correction drive in Gadwal from today
The revenue officials of the district have decided to launch a week-long comprehensive land survey programme for correction of land records in Gadwal mandal from Friday onwards. As part of this, the revenue officials of Gadwal mandal have directed all farmers of villages coming under the jurisdiction of Gadwal mandal to gather for a meeting at Valmiki Committee Hall in the district headquarters.
Gadwal: The revenue officials of the district have decided to launch a week-long comprehensive land survey programme for correction of land records in Gadwal mandal from Friday onwards. As part of this, the revenue officials of Gadwal mandal have directed all farmers of villages coming under the jurisdiction of Gadwal mandal to gather for a meeting at Valmiki Committee Hall in the district headquarters.
While informing about the comprehensive land survey programme, Gadwal Tahsiladar Raju said: “As the government had directed to complete the comprehensive land survey by December end, we have decided to organise a meeting of all farmers coming under the Gadwal mandal. They are advised to come will all the details of their land holdings like survey numbers, pattadar passbooks and any other relevant information relating to their land claims and they should record the same with the revenue officials.
As this is a great opportunity for the farmers to resolve any of their land disputes, they are advised to take part in this comprehensive land survey in a big way.” The land survey meeting is scheduled to begin from 9 am onwards from Friday and is expected to be continued for a week during which all the land records in Gadwal mandal will be corrected and digitally uploaded.
