The main focus of the meeting is expected to discuss up on the water level available in all the reservoirs in the district and release of the water for the Rabi season so as to help the farmers start cultivation of crops for this season.
“The agenda of meeting with the Collector will be discussed on the release of water for Rabi for the year 2017-18. Gadwal has Jurala Priyadarshini project, Nettampad and RDS projects in the district, the District Advisory Board for irrigation water is expected to decided on the release of water,” informed Surendar Banoth, Deputy superintendent of engineer, Jurala Priyadarshini Gadwal circle-1.
