In view of World Telugu Conferences from 15 to 19of this month to be held in Hyderabad, district Administration with the help of Education Department has been promoting Telugu in the district. In this connection, officials are conducting elocution and essay writing competitions to school and college students across the district, he informed

As a part of promotional work, on Monday students formed Telugu alphabet human chains at Lyola school in Suryapet town. The Collector Surendra Msssohan, who attended the programme as chief guest appreciated the students and private and government school’s correspondents and headmasters.

He further informed that, district Administration also going to take help of poets to promote the Telugu, in this connection poets’ meets would be conducted at mandal , constituency and district level , he added. MPP VatteJanaiah, AD I& PR YasaVenkateshwarlu, MEO Golri,Loyala school management members Aloshian, Jojireddy, Prashanth and others were present.
