Muhammad spoke about women’s safety

Khammam: The preachings of Muhammad were meant for the protection of women and the women must not forget that the heaven is present at the footsteps of a mother, said Ayesha Sultana, the District Secretary of the Women’s wing ‘Jamaat E Islami Hind’ (JIH) organisation. A meeting was held with JIH representatives as a part of the movement ‘Andari Pravakta Mohammad’ to create awareness among the women, here on Tuesday. Speaking at the meeting, Ayesha Sultana said women must be strong and must compete in all fields, irrespective of religion and caste by pursuing higher education.
She explained the sacredness imparted by the Islam religion to women and said the development of the nation is dependent on the economic development of the women present in the country. Ayesha urged the women to fight against the discrimination prevailing in the society. Women’s College Development member Vannam Krishnaveni, BJP Morcha district president Sridevi, State Minority Cell president Shakeena, TRS Jagruthi district president Thanneru Shoba Rani, advocate Karnamba, G Meera Kumari, Rahematunnisa, Athiya, Arifa, Hussain bi and Ayesha were present.
