Kusumanchi mandal sets Dec 15 as deadline for ODF tag
Kusumanchi mandal Tahsildar Krishna suggested the people to construct individual sanitary latrines (ISL) by December 15. Tahsildar along with Mandal Parishad Development Officer Vidhya Chandana inspected the ongoing construction works of ISLs at Gattusingaram, Perikasingaram, Gangabanda thandas in Kusumanchi mandal on Friday.
Khammam: Kusumanchi mandal Tahsildar Krishna suggested the people to construct individual sanitary latrines (ISL) by December 15. Tahsildar along with Mandal Parishad Development Officer Vidhya Chandana inspected the ongoing construction works of ISLs at Gattusingaram, Perikasingaram, Gangabanda thandas in Kusumanchi mandal on Friday.
Interacting with the beneficiaries, Tahsildar Krishna said Kusumanchi mandal would be declared as Open Defecation-Free (ODF) on December 16 as the construction of ISLs in the various villages of the mandal had been nearing completion soon.
On this note, he asked the villagers to ensure construction of ISLs by December 15 for declaring the mandal as ODF. The government does not sanction benefits if any negligence is observed in completing the construction works of ISLs, he warned.
