Plans have been prepared to ensure 100 per cent pass percentage of students studying in Tribal Welfare Residential Schools (TWRS) in SSC Examination. There are 475 students appearing for class X examination from 12 TWRS in Khammam and Bhadradri-Kothagudem districts together.

Kothagudem: Plans have been prepared to ensure 100 per cent pass percentage of students studying in Tribal Welfare Residential Schools (TWRS) in SSC Examination. There are 475 students appearing for class X examination from 12 TWRS in Khammam and Bhadradri-Kothagudem districts together.

Last year these two districts of TWRS achieved 94.56 and bagged first three ranks. The officials are gearing up to tune students to break the previous year’s record. They have come up with a plan that helps teachers to concentrate on individual student to shine in every subject of their curriculum.

The officials concerned introduced New Quality Policy (NQP) to help teachers identify students who are weak in studies. The policy also helps teachers to access how students are faring in each subject. Weekly tests will be conducted from January. The students will be provided with minimum learning material.

Regional Coordinator (RCO) S K Buran said the TWRS schools in Khammam and Bhadradri-Kothagudem had already earned special recognition. “We have come up with a plan to achieve 100 per cent results and thereby keeping the recognition. Steps are being taken accordingly to make students to prepare for examinations. Students who are weak in studies will be given utmost concern,” he added.
