The Adhyanotsavalu at the famous Sri Sitaramachandra Swamy temple in Bhadracahalam began on grand and traditional way with priests colourfully decorating the deity on Tuesday. They brought the decorated idol to the Kalyana Mandapa Vedika on the day where a large number of devotees had the Lord’s darshan.

Bhadrachalam: The Adhyanotsavalu at the famous Sri Sitaramachandra Swamy temple in Bhadracahalam began on grand and traditional way with priests colourfully decorating the deity on Tuesday. They brought the decorated idol to the Kalyana Mandapa Vedika on the day where a large number of devotees had the Lord’s darshan.

The Lord gave the darshan in Matsyavatharam, which is the first Avatharam among Dasavatharams, at Mithila Stadium. Devotees chanted Ramanama Sankeertanam as priests performed Vishwaksena puja and Punyavachanam. The temple officials announced suspension of the Nithya Kalyanam seva till the end of Adhyanotsavalu.

Among those present were Executive Officer K Prabhakar Srinivas, Bhadrachalam Revenue Development Officer P Srimanarayana Reddy, Assistant Executive Officer Sravan Kumar, Superintendent of the temple Bhavanai Rama Krishna, Acharaya KE Stala Sai, Chief archakas Podicheti Jaganadha Charyulu, Podicheti Sitaramanjanacharyulu and Upa archaka Amravadi Vijayaragahavan.
