Awareness week on fuel conservation held
Commemorating the National Energy Conservation Day, Telangana State Renewable Energy Development Corporation officials conducted a week-long awareness programmes to sensitise students and general people over the importance of conservation of fuel and stressed the need for opting for renewable sources of energy against the use of fossil fuels for sustainable development in the future.

The week-long celebrations which started on December 14 concluded on Wednesday. On the last day of celebrations, TSREDCO officials conducted an awareness camp and demonstrated various renewable energy systems like solar panels and biogas models and explained their working principles to the polytechnic and engineering students at SVITS Engineering College in Mahbubnagar. Divisional Manager of TSREDCO T Venugopal, Corporation ADO Waheed, SVITS College Principal K Sudharkar and Vice-Principal Tejavardhan participated in the awareness programme.
