Ganja worth 7 lakh seized

The Excise police on Thursday seized 350 kg of of ganja worth Rs 7 lakh at the road bridge across River Godavari here. The ganja was being smuggled in a vehicle.
Bhadrachalam: The Excise police on Thursday seized 350 kg of of ganja worth Rs 7 lakh at the road bridge across River Godavari here. The ganja was being smuggled in a vehicle.
However, the driver fled the place. The seized ganja, from Odisha, was being smuggled via Nellipaka in Etapaka mandal of East Godavari district. Excise CI L Jayasri said ganja was concealed under hay. Circle Inspector Srinivasulu, town SI Karunakar and others were present.
