Mahbubnagar: JIGNASA-2017, a study project presentation programme organised in MVS Degree college here, has caught the true imagination of the students as more than 225 students participated with different study projects from their own subject of interests on Thursday.
Taking part as a chief guest at the occasion, District Collector Ronald Rose congratulated the students and the organisers for taking up such an important programme which aimed at bringing out the innovative talents of the students. “If learning the theory is one thing, understanding and assimilating the subject and implementing the theory practically is another big thing.
The students have effectively exhibited their true subject knowledge by their presentations. I congratulate all the students for their best efforts and will always be there to support them from government’s side. The best projects selected at the district-level will be sent to state-level presentations,” said Ronald Rose.
Students from different departments like Arts, Physics, Chemistry, Biological sciences and other departments of MVS college took part in the project presentations, where in students explained their projects through power point presentations. “Around 225 students from 16 different subjects gave their study project presentations.
The judges will choose best two projects and the same will be sent to state level for further competition,” said Yadagiri, Principal of MVS college, Mahbubnagar. The best study project selected at the district-level will be given prize money of Rs 25,000, while the second prize will get a cheque of Rs 18,000.
