The representatives of T-Mass handed over a memorandum to the District Muslim Welfare Officer seeking solutions to various issues the Muslim Minorities were suffering, here in Khammam on Monday.

Speaking on the occasion, Mohammad Gouse said that out of 6,900 applications that were received from Muslim Minorities seeking loans in the year 2016, the government had selected only 153 members through lottery system.

About 100 members were sanctioned Rs 1 lakh and two members Rs 2 lakh. However, they were yet to receive the cheques. “The government must sanction the loans to the remaining beneficiaries also of whom they selected through lottery system,” he demanded.

Responding positively to the representation given by T-Mass members, the DMWO said he would take initiation for sanctioning of loans to all the members who were selected through lottery system as early as possible from the government along with sending proposals for sanctioning of loans to other members belonging to Muslim Minorities.
