Kasturba hostel girls missing
Two girls, studying tenth class in Kasturba Residential High School, Charla, went missing from the school on Monday. According to the police, the two students – B Sowjanya and G Gowri – went to the Special Officer Jayasudha to seek permission to go to toilet in the early hours of Monday. With her permission, the girls went out and never came back.

The school staff got alerted after some time that the girls were missing and searched for them in the school premises, but in vain. Special Officer Jayasudha informed the girls’ parents, who are living in the same mandal.
The parents also searched the entire school and nearby places for the girls. Later the Special Officer lodged a complaint in the police station about the missing girls. The Charla police registered a case and started investigation.
