The representatives of the CPM party staged a protest with regard to Punjab National Bank scam and beat the flexi of Nirav Modi with chappals, here at Saritha Clinic Centre in Khammam on Friday. Speaking on the occasion, Vikram alleged that Nirav Modi who cheated the PNB with Rs 11,000 crore scam was seen participating in the Davo’s meet attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “How can such a fraudster take part in programme led by Narendra Modi? What is the relation between BJP and Nirav Modi, who used people’s money at his will?” he questioned.
While middleclass and poor were working day and night to save some money, people like Nirav Modi and Vijay Mallya were robbing people’s hard-earned money in connivance with the government,” he alleged, adding that instead of taking action against such persons, the government was trying to extend them a helping hand. Party leaders B Venkat Kumar, G Bheemaiah, Aluri Raghu, Hussain, J Venkanna Babu, Bhadram, R Gurumurthy, Naga Raju, Manohar, Basheer, Venkateshwarlu and Sagar were present along with others.
