Vice-sarpanch attempts suicide at Collectorate
Boda Yadaiah, vice-sarpanch of Goplapuram village of Madgulapally mandal on Wednesday attempted suicide at the Collectorate in the wake of threatening of filing fake cases by field assistant Saidulu in connection with illegal tapping of water from SLBC distributory.
Nalgonda: Boda Yadaiah, vice-sarpanch of Goplapuram village of Madgulapally mandal on Wednesday attempted suicide at the Collectorate in the wake of threatening of filing fake cases by field assistant Saidulu in connection with illegal tapping of water from SLBC distributory.
According to sources, Yadaiah advised Saidulu of Ramapuram, who is working as fied assitant, to stop repeated canal breakings for his land needs and also complained the same to the officials, but in vain.
On Tuesday, Saidulu along with others warned Yadaiah to keep mum, otherwise would file fake cases. Worried yadaiah on Wednesday came to the Collector’s office and attempted suicide by drinking pesticide. Alert staff at the Collectorate immediately shifted Yadadiah to district headquarter hospital for treament.
Upon receiving information, MLA Komatireddy Venkat Reddy rushed to the hopital and enquired the doctors about his health. Later speaking to media, Komati informed that TRS leaders were creating nusiance in villages and demaded justice to victim Yadaiah.
