District police took three suspected persons and three history sheeters into their custody besides seizing 50 bikes, five auto-rickshaws and four cars during cordon and search operations conducted at Thatha Nagar and Pahadi Nagar in Bhongir town on Wednesday early hours.

Under the supervision of district DCP Ramachandra Reddy, two Assistant Commissioners of Police, eight circle inspectors, 12 Sub-inspectors, 150 police personnel including women police took part in the operation.
As part of cordon and search operation, the police checked the houses in both colonies and also verified the identity of persons working and residing in them. The vehicles were seized as the owners failed to provide valid registration papers.
Speaking to media, DCP Ramachandra Reddy informed that as the district was developing industrially and spiritually, the police department has been taking all precautionary measures to make Bhongir-Yadadri a crime-free district. He urged peoples’ cooperation in maintaining law and order in the district.
