MRPS calls for State bandh on March 13
Manda Krishna Madiga, President of Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi, while addressing a meeting in Jadcherla on Monday, called for a statewide bandh on march 13.

He said during the 24 years of formation of MRPS, all the major parties, Telugu Desam, Congress, TRS and the BJP had used the Scheduled Castes people as their vote banks, but they had all failed to fullfil their promise and till date.
The MRPS president praised Vice-President Venkaiah Naidu as he had supported the MRPS since 1984. In fact, he said Venkaiah Naidu was the first person to propose the categorisation of SCs in Parliament during 1980s.
“All the parties, including the Congress when YSR was the Chief Minister, TDP during Naidu’s regime and now the TRS headed by KCR had deceived the Madigas and causing great injustice for them in SC reservations.
